Windows 10 : Microsoft releases a second cumulative windows update KB3081424
There is a week, Microsoft released the first cumulative update (KB3081424) for the new version of its operating system, Windows 10. The publisher deploy a second update (KB3081436).
The first focused on the performance and functionality of Windows 10, not security. Security is precisely the heart of this second cumulative update of the OS . In addition to security developments for Edge, Microsoft provides several fixes.
It fixe vulnerabilities of different components of Windows 10, including its .Net Framework or Internet Explorer. However, if Microsoft promised a fix for the bug met on blind Windows 10, it is not provided by the cumulative update. It will take a separate patch.
Microsoft should release, at least during the first months of cumulative updates for Windows 10 at a steady pace, probably weekly. In addition to these changes the usual monthly Patch Tuesday patches.
