Tutorial of Build and capture Windows 10 with SCCM 2012
- To add windows 10 image to SCCM 2012 R2 , Open Configmgr Console (SCCM 2012 Console) , Then expand Software Library, Operating Systems, Operating System Installers, right click and choose Add Operating System Installer
- Click on browse and navigate to the path where we extracted source of windows 10
- Fill Name and version of Windows
- Click Next Then close
Distribute the image to the distribution point (DP)
-Open Configmgr Console (SCCM 2012 Console) , Then expand Software Library, Operating Systems, Operating System Installer and right click on windows 10 image
-Cick distribute contente, then click Next on the Wizard
- Select the distribution point then click Next
- Confirm the summary and click close
Create the Build and Capture Task Sequence
-choose Create Task Sequence in SCCM
- One the Wizard click Build and Capture a reference operating system image then clic Next
-Fill the name of Task sequence and choose x64 boot image ( driver package for network card should be added on boot image)
-In the step bellow you have to chose if you want to join a domain or note ( it depend if you want build and capture directly or you want to separate deployment and capture )
- Go throw next step to select applications, software and other proprieties, then confirm the summary
- As told before if you want to do just deployment of operating system edit the task sequence and disable steps of capture
Deploy Task sequence of Capture windows 10
-Right click on the task sequence and choose deploy
- Go throw the wizard to fill proprieties such as collection, user experiences, schedule and PXE
- Boot a Vmware machine and choose PXE boot option
-Select the task sequence of capture windows 10
- Click next and wait for OS deployment
- Finally Windows 10 are deployed
- After custom windows 10 you can capture it by USB of CD as explained on the following post
