FIRST FIRMWARES WINDOWS 10 FOR FUJIFILM CAMERA

According to what the brand had announced in recent weeks, a number of Fujifilm cameras just completed an update of their firmware to add the compatibility with Windows 10.
If transferring photos from the camera to the computer via USB cable, no problem with previous editions of Windows, a change in the OS has clearly broken this feature.

To our knowledge, the Fujifilm cameras are the only ones affected by this incompatibility with Windows 10.
To restore this feature, Fujifilm has updated the firmware of early August X-T10 and in recent days that the models in the compact class X.

Firmware updated late August 2015

The X-A2 was originally to be part of this first wave but its corrected firmware was eventually pushed back to the end September 2015.

Fujifilm does not plan to publish updates to the rest of the range X (compact and interchangeable lenses) until the very end of 2015. Same for the FinePix compact cameras sold in 2010 and the following years.
